Allocation of Frequencies for Airport Stations
Airport stations are fixed stations for voice and data communication with airplane systems. Radio frequencies used by individual services in airports are designated as private networks.
The radio frequencies allocated to aviation applications in the General Act on Radio Frequency Utilisation Plan may be used for this purpose.
The Agency issues a decision on allocating radio frequencies (DARF), with which use is permitted on a particular frequency channel. Also specified are: modulation, fixed location, transmission direction (azimuth and elevation), as well as minimum requirements regarding the technical parameters.
